Also this year, the TPA Group’s appearance at Expo Real in Munich was a great success – and came with some firsts.

The 20th edition of “Expo Real”, which was held in Munich from 4-6 October, was a record-breaking trade fair in in several respects: in total, there were 2,003 exhibitors from 35 countries – an increase of 13% compared to last year. With 41,500 participants, the number of visitors rose by 6%. Hence, Expo Real impressively demonstrated once again this year its leading role as the biggest B2B trade fair for the real estate and investment sector in Europe.

Larger stand, more nationalities

The TPA Group’s trade-fair appearance was also “record-breaking” in several respects: for the first time, TPA was represented with a considerably larger stand, jointly with the international Baker Tilly network, of which TPA has been a member since 2016. Consultants originating from a total of 23 countries were available for professional exchange. In addition to the 11 countries where TPA is represented, these included, among others, Germany, Great Britain, Russia, Spain, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.

Wolfgang Richter, Co-Managing Partner at Baker Tilly Germany, confirmed the successful cooperation between TPA and Baker Tilly after just one year: “This cooperation has quickly become an incredible success – not least because TPA is very well established in the real estate sector.”

Focus on digitalisation

The structuring and implementation of intricate real estate projects – area of expertise of the real estate experts of the TPA Group – was a much-discussed subject among visitors. This year, the focus was on digital products and services as well.

“The subject of digitalisation will be of utmost importance to the real estate sector – as well as to other sectors,” believes Karin Fuhrmann, leading real estate expert and partner of TPA, continuing: “Moreover, new asset classes will play a major role as well: investors are already quite interested in student residences; they will also become increasingly interested in residences for the elderly.”

TPA’s trade-fair appearance culminated on 5 October in a tasting of exclusive Bründlmayer wines, turning the stand of the TPA Group and Baker Tilly into a real “crowd puller”.
